Research and engineering application of tunnel construction management system based on BIM+Web

  • Aiming at the prominent problems in tunnel engineering including complex and variable construction environments, information transmission disconnects, difficulties in multi-stakeholder collaborative management and lagging risk control, a BIM+Web-based tunnel construction management system was developed to break through the bottlenecks of traditional management and control and improve the digitalization and intelligence level of engineering construction. With the concept of whole-life cycle management as the core, a three-level integrated architecture of "modeling subsystem - management subsystem - engineering application" was constructed; the problems of parametric modeling were solved through the secondary development of Revit and Dynamo node development, the Three.js engine and glTF format were adopted to realize efficient visualization of models on the Web end, multiple core functions were integrated to form a full-process system, and with the Jianli Expressway Tunnel Group as the background, modeling was carried out via WBS decomposition and application verification was conducted. The system effectively breaks down information silos, enabling efficient information sharing among multiple parties and improving collaborative work efficiency; it also optimizes construction processes and provides early risk warnings. This system solved the pain points in multi-link management and control of tunnel construction, provided complete technical support for the high-quality construction of tunnel projects.
