Abstract:
To address the engineering challenge of gas overruns and even coal and gas outbursts induced by rapid excavation of coal roadways under the condition of dynamic gas occurrence in geological tectonic regions of outburst-prone mines, a "multi-technology comprehensive integration" gas prevention and control technical system was proposed. This system integrates gas geology analysis, optimization of gas control drilling design in tectonic regions, deep-hole blasting for permeability enhancement, and early warning and management. Practice in the geological tectonic region during the excavation of the 16
middle 15 transport roadway at Xiaotun Coal Mine in Guizhou Province demonstrated that after the implementation of the "multi-technology comprehensive integration" gas prevention and control technology, the gas concentration in drainage boreholes increased significantly, and the excavation speed of the coal roadway heading face through the tectonic region was improved by 45.8%. This achievement enabled safe and rapid excavation of coal roadways in geological tectonic areas.
