Abstract:
Against the backdrop of growing global energy demand and multiple challenges facing traditional surface mining operations, we focus on the intelligent integrated management and control platform for open-pit coal mines. Based on the concept of layered architecture design, a system framework encompassing multiple levels such as the device layer, edge layer, and network layer has been constructed. Efficient collaboration among these layers is achieved through standardized interfaces. Integrated with core service components from the foundational capability layer of the industrial internet, a complete closed-loop system is formed, while a standard specification system ensures system compatibility and scalability. Addressing the complex production environment and high data heterogeneity characteristic of open-pit mines, a key technical system for multi-source heterogeneous data collection and digital twin technology has been developed. This enables cross-protocol, cross-network data fusion transmission and the implementation of intelligent applications. Taking the Manglai Open-pit Coal Mine as a case study, significant results have been achieved in areas such as improved operational management efficiency, optimized cost control, intelligent decision-making in production planning, enhanced safety management, and workforce reduction and efficiency gains through remote centralized control. The research outcomes not only alleviate the pain points of traditional open-pit mining but also provide a replicable and scalable technological paradigm for the intelligent transformation of the industry, promoting the development of open-pit coal mines towards safer, more efficient, greener, and smarter operations.
