Abstract:
Aiming at the problem of excessively long outburst prevention duration(estimated to be 3~5 years) for coal uncovering in No.2 Adit Work Zone of Zhaotong Tunnel on the Yunnan-Guizhou Section of the Chongqing-Kunming High-Speed Railway, targeting the M1-7 to M1-9 coal seams, and in combination with the complex geological conditions of the work zone, including ultra-deep burial depth(900~950 m),high in-situ stress(maximum principal in-situ stress of 25.4~36.7 MPa),large deformation of soft rock, and “three-soft” coal seam groups with low permeability, an outburst prevention management system featuring precise detection, refined management, and systematic safety protection was established by integrating the construction characteristics and industrial specifications of coal mining and railway tunnels.Field practice shows that the system has shortened the outburst prevention duration for coal uncovering to 10 months, achieved gas drainage of 288 000 m meeting relevant standards, and safely completed coal uncovering and excavation. The research verifies the effectiveness of this refined management mode, which can provide a reference for outburst prevention in tunnel coal uncovering under similar complex geological conditions.
