Abstract:
In order to solve the problem of freezing and sticking of belt conveyor at low temperature in cold area, an intelligent spraying system of antifreeze is proposed in this paper.Using CaCl
2 solution as antifreeze agent, through the analysis and simulation of its performance, the ratio of solvents at different temperatures is calculated, and then the intelligent spraying system is described, which is controlled by PLC,its hardware and software are designed and selected, one main nozzle and two sets of nozzles are used, and the standby nozzles are used when failure occurs.Subsequently, the calculated concentration ratio was verified through multiple sets of experiments in a certain mine.The results show that the concentration of CaCl
2 solution should increase with the decrease of temperature, and the calculated theoretical value is suitable.The system provides an efficient and reliable solution to the problem of freezing and sticking for conveyor belt in cold area.
