Abstract:
This paper investigates the development heights of the water-conducting fracture zone and collapse zone in the roof after mining the No.2 coal seam at the Balasu Coal Mine using three methods of wash fluid loss observation, water pressure test, and borehole television inspection. The results indicate that the development height of the water-conducting fracture zone in the No.2 coal seam of the Balasu Coal Mine ranges from 103.68 to 107.58 meters, with a fracture-to-mining ratio of 31.42 to 32.60.The development height of the collapse zone in the No.2 coal seam is 22.58 meters, with a collapse-to-mining ratio of 6.84.
