Abstract:
Understanding the development characteristics and mine pressure behavior law of “two zones” is crucial for ensuring the safe mining of subsequent working faces in mine.Based on theoretical analysis, numerical simulation, and on-site observation, we investigate the initial mining working face in the Liupan District of Changping Coal Mine. The results show that: the height of the collapse zone of the initial mining face is 20~30 m, the height of the water-conducting fracture zone is 30~40 m, and the bending and subsidence zone is located 40 m from the working face roof to the surface. The initial collapse step distance of the direct roof is 11.8~15.1 m, and the initial collapse step distance of the basic roof is about 30 m.The periodic weighting step distance is 8.25~23.35 m.During the mining period, the working face weighting is not synchronized, with obvious increase in resistance in the central hydraulic supports, strong mining pressure behavior, and relatively weak in the head and tail, mainly caused by the “O-X” type breakage of the old roof. The spalling of the working face is mainly shear failure, with small spalling during non-pressure periods and particularly severe during pressure periods.During the mining period, the qualification rate of the support face distance is high, the overall stability of the surrounding rock is good, the movement law of the overlying rock is stable, and the surface subsidence can be effectively controlled.
