Abstract:
During the construction and layout of mines, it is inevitable to arrange them in areas with high rock damage such as structural zones.Reverse thrust structures, as a special type of structure, have certain complexity and superimposed destructive effects on rocks. This study aims to investigate the degree of rock damage caused by the reverse thrust fault in the Panxian Coalfield.Taking the reverse thrust fault in Luchu Village of Xiangshui Town, on the southern boundary of the Panxian Coalfield as an example, rock physical and mechanical properties experiments were conducted on the upper and lower walls of the reverse thrust fault in the thrust structure, as well as rocks in the same sedimentary environment and layer that were not damaged by the fault.Further analysis was conducted in conjunction with the reverse thrust structure. We summarized several regularities of rock damage caused by reverse thrust faults in order to serve mining technology, especially related fields such as mine support.
